Welcome to Ouray Image where you can view and purchase images of the landscape and wildlife in the San Juan mountains near Ouray, Telluride and Silverton. I live in Ridgway, where I run a gallery in the spring, summer and fall. My work is in regional galleries and appears regularly in publications showcasing Southwest Colorado including the covers of the most recent editions of San Juan Skyway and Telluride magazines. Because of my proximity and knowledge of the mountains, my gallery of images is unique. I travel to locations that other photographers are not aware about or willing to hike to.
I print and frame my work personally using a large-format printer and museum-grade papers. Because I control the printmaking process every step of the way, you are assured of a high quality print. I have sold prints and canvas wraps to hundreds of clients living in every corner of the country.
With proper care, a print from Ouray Image should last a lifetime. The canvas and varnish used to produce canvas wraps has a 100-year-preservation rating from the Fine Art Trade Guild. The framed prints are on printed on museum-grade paper and acid-free matting. I also make custom wood floater frames for canvas wraps.
